A place for web technology, unix and music.
My passion for tech started when I wanted to build my own website at age 14. I quickly learned about HTML and JavaScript, then I touched into Perl, Pascal Delphi, and PHP. I took a bachelors degree in Embedded Systems focusing on computer science, software and hardware.
Since then I’ve been working as a software engineer in insurance and banking. I’m currently employed as a senior consultant at Delta Consulting, where I work with a variety of clients on different projects. My expertise lies in backend development, particularly with Java and Spring Boot, but I also have experience with frontend technologies like React.
My spare time mostly goes to my kids (I have 3 girls - 2, 8 and 10), but I also enjoy coding, reading, biking, running, drinking beer and occasionally building my own computer keyboard.
Music also has been a big part of my life, I’ve played my fender bass guitar in a wide range of bands and done hundreds of gigs over the years. Some time in the future I might play in a band again, but for now I just play at home.
